The Valentine Grinch is a romance full of humor provided by the ghost of Amanda's grandfather and her grandmother the soon to be bride of Morty Weatherby, her childhood friend. Grandpa George is not happy about being replaced and wants Amanda to stop the wedding. From the time of Grandpa George's first appearance to only Amanda, she keeps acting strange while the family gets ready for the wedding to be on Valentine's Day.
The second love story come with the first as Amanda gets to see her childhood friend Dane Weatherby, Morty's grandson and finds her best friend is also 'the one' for her.
The Valentine Grinch is delightful, full of crazy fun and happy endings.

I loved Sheila Seabrooks new book "The Valentine Grinch", filled with several generations of wonderful real life characters and entertaining family quirks that we see when we get together with loved ones. I laughed through Amanda's simmering realization that she was in love with her best friend. This is light, yet touching story about real love, lost love, finding love and moving on in life. I purchased this story as part of a boxed set. I enjoyed the story and its sweet honesty of a young person coming home to family issues and special occasions. Amanda and Dale have been best friends for life but there is so much more to come to the story. Will they make decisions that will keep their past as best friends in tact or risk it all for what could be so much more forever. This is a special story so buy it, read it and enjoy it!

I started smiling at the beginning of this cute, quirky story and grinned all the way through. Seabrook has given us some unique and believable characters. You'll laugh even as you want to pull your hair out as you watch Amanda's exasperation in dealing with her family. I couldn't help but fall in love with Amanda's grandparents. Her grandmother is eccentric and her grandfather is a conniving ghost; and they drive her to distraction.
I admit, that I am always partial to a turn-around book and Amanda does indeed do an about face. In spite of being friends with Dane forever, Amanda is the ultimate Valentine's Grinch. When life and her family twist Amanda about in circles she discovered that the holiday isn't just about cards and chocolates. She realizes there might just be something more to Valentine's Day.
This is a quick read that will make you smile and reinforce your belief in the power of love.
This wonderful occasion just happens tone set for Valentines Day . Her least favorite day. This is also her Grandad's first appearance to her . This is a complete shock to Amanda because he has passed on , died, and did so 14 years ago . But Granddad 's ghost is determined to stop the wedding and he needs Amanda's help . Grandma is engaged to marry Morty Westbrook. He is Dane's Grandad . Dane turns out to be the love of her life . She has known him forever and he gets her . 5 stars review for this arc honestly and freely given with no compensation. Get the book can't tell anymore or I 'lol spoil it for you but it's cute , funny and very refreshing!
